Swiss Conferences on Biomaterials combined with the Annual Meeting of the SSB are organized with focus on specific themes related to biomaterials.

2003: Polymers and Allergies; 2004: Tissue Engineering; 2005: Surface Treatment Technologies; 2006: Absorbables, Degradables, and Resorbables; 2007: Micro- and Nanotechnologies; 2008: Mechanics of Cell & Material Interactions; 2009: no conference due to the organization of the ESB Congress in Lausanne; 2010: Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering; 2011: Applications of Biomaterials in Dental and Musculoskeletal Devices; 2012: Biomaterials in Orthopaedic Surgery: From Bench to Bedside and back.

The 2013 theme is Polymers and Biomaterials. Traditionally, the SSB2013 will also be open to all aspects of biomaterials, preferably presented in the afternoon sessions and as posters more ...

Call for papers: Preference for oral presentations will be given to those devoted to the main topic. Poster contributions to all aspects of biomaterials are welcome.
